“I grew up barefoot in fields and forests, where nature was my refuge — a place of wonder, adventure, and escape.
As a child, my parents, both healthcare workers, brought me with them to orphanages where they served the disadvantaged. Years later, as a photographer working in Libya (the origin of the Antaeus myth) and living in Congo (DRC), I experienced what disconnection does to the human spirit.
Recovery taught me that nature has the power to heal — to bring us back to ourselves, to each other, and to the earth.
Antaeus begins with my daughter, creating grounding products, pathways and stories that root her generation in presence, connection, and wholeness.
Through a Groundation, we aim to extend this work by funding access to nature and essential healthcare for disadvantaged youth across the globe.”
